Discovering drinking water (1h15):
In the classroom, we will look at the main stages in the water cycle and the different states of water. We'll also find out how a drop of water seeps into the ground, how it is collected and how it reaches our taps. We will then open the discussion on the fragility of the resource, the need to preserve it and the actions we can take.
Visit to the water treatment plant (1h15):
Visitors will learn about the different stages of treatment at a wastewater treatment plant, by observing hands-on experiments. The second part of the tour will take place outdoors, where visitors will be able to observe the various stages in the wastewater treatment process (pre-treatment, biological treatment, clarification, sludge extraction, etc.) before the water is returned to the natural environment.
