From 9.15 pm, enjoy a large-scale open-air screening of the animated film *Avril and the Tilted World*, directed by Franck Ekinci and Christian Desmares.

1941. The world is radically different from that described by conventional history. Napoleon V reigns over France, where, as everywhere else on the globe for the past 70 years, scientists have been mysteriously disappearing, depriving humanity of vital inventions. Lacking, in particular, radio, television, electricity, aviation and the internal combustion engine, this world is mired in outdated technology, as if asleep in nineteenth-century knowledge, governed by coal and steam.
It is in this strange world that a young girl, Avril, sets out in search of her parents—scientists who have gone missing—accompanied by Darwin, her talking cat, and Julius, a young street urchin. This trio will have to face the dangers and mysteries of this ‘Fake World’. Who has been abducting scientists for decades? To what sinister end?
