Ciné & Patrimoine: an evening dedicated to the film ‘En fanfare’
On Saturday 11 July, Place François Mitterrand will host a free evening event as part of the Ciné & Patrimoine programme.
The evening will begin at 8.00 pm with a guided tour of the historic centre, starting from Rue Paul Banaston – the former Chanoines district – and ending at Place François Mitterrand. The tour will be led by Élisabeth Lachaume, a qualified tour guide.
At 9.00 pm, the public will be able to enjoy a performance by the Avant-Garde de Lisieux marching band, followed at 9.15 pm by an open-air concert by the band.
The evening will continue at 10.15 pm with a screening of the film *En fanfare!* by Emmanuel Courcol. The film tells the story of Thibaut, an internationally renowned conductor, who discovers that he was adopted and that he has a brother, Jimmy, a canteen worker with a passion for the trombone.
