A symbol of the architecture of the Pays d’Auge, the half-timbered house epitomises Normandy itself. A powerful symbol of our heritage, half-timbering is also a motif that has inspired artists, who present us with inhabited landscapes that are as picturesque as they are romantic. New! Two sections are dedicated to Victorien Lottin de Laval and Raymond Bigot, artists from Orbec with unconventional career paths.
