Description
3.00 pm Sainte-Marguerite Church (Tôtes)
A modest little church that probably dates back to the 12th century. Sainte-Marguerite is still venerated here. The beautiful stained-glass windows, which blend perfectly with the surroundings, were created by Florent Chaboissier.
4.30 pm Saint-Rémi Church (Ecots)
The church stands alongside the remains of an ancient Carolingian motte-and-bailey castle. This link between the church and the local seigneury is part of the tradition of Norman feudal foundations, which closely intertwined the temporal power of the local seigneury with spiritual control over the territory.
