Description
Musical theatre for three chairs and twelve legs: Two children in the forest, a house made of gingerbread and candy cane, an ogress witch: the three musicians and actors from the Normandy collective Ubique need three times nothing to cook up the Grimm brothers' tale in their own way. Or rather: three times four nothings... A dozen old-fashioned instruments (lute, theorbo, violin...) with strange flavours (kalimba, xiao...) and a musical saw to slice up the fairy tale. The twelve feet of the alexandrine that they fold and fold again like puff pastry. And the three times four legs of the chairs where they exercise their gift of ubiquity, twirling their voices and gestures. As if on the trestles of a rhythmic theatre, dancing with words, sounds and music...
