Lisieux archaeological garden

During urbanization work at the foot of the Robert Bisson hospital center in Lisieux, remains of Gallo-Roman thermal baths were discovered. Excavations were therefore set up to delimit what had then been the different parts that made up these thermal baths. Two spa establishments were thus discovered, one for women, the other for men, as well as a rich house.

Currently, floors of different colors decorated with plants and shrubs materialize the main rooms and explanatory panels guide the visitor.
