Description
Tapirs have been inhabiting the Earth for 35 million years...
TAPIR, THE MOVIE is the first film to raise awareness about the protection of this fascinating species. Come and meet them through spectacular footage shot in Brazil. This documentary is the result of 30 years of research and conservation work carried out by researcher Patricia Medici and her teams at INCAB - IPE.
For over 20 years, CERZA has supported this project through CERZA Conservation, as well as through the on-the-ground commitment of
Dorothée Ordonneau, the park’s vet and Europe’s leading tapir vet. The film will be screened at the CERZA cinema in her presence.
Free screening open to all – admission from 5.45 pm only, subject to registration.
The park is open to visitors from 10.00 am to 5.30 pm at the current admission rates.
Refreshments are available on site after the film – not included in the admission ticket – at an additional cost payable on the day, with proceeds going to CERZA Conservation.
Charity sale of merchandise to support tapir conservation.
